Australian carriers have continued to cancel trans-Tasman and domestic flights due to a volcanic ash cloud in the region.
Airservices Australia, the national air traffic management agency, said that the ash from Chile's Puyehue-Cordon Caulle volcano will affect flights to and from Western Australia today.
The ash, however, had largely dissipated around Adelaide and services to the city could resume today, it added.
Australia's flag carrier Qantas and its low-cost subsidiary Jetstar have cancelled several services for the third day in a row.
This includes Qantas' trans-Tasman flights, and services to Perth and the island of Tasmania. In addition to its trans-Tasman and Perth services, Jetstar also cancelled its Singapore-Auckland flights.
Virgin Australia also suspended its Perth services while Pacific Blue, its New Zealand unit, suspended its Christchurch-Wellington flights.
The carrier said that it made its decision in consultation with Australia's Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre and Bureau of Meteorology, which "determined that services should remain suspended until" Thursday.
