Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) has launched a PT6 engine test cell as part of the expansion of its Brisbane product support facility. Denis Parisien, vice-president of service centres operations, says the facility will now support over 600 PT6 engines in the Queensland region. More than 100 are under P&WC's engine leasing programme. Sales should be over A$60 million ($32.1 million) by the end of 2001.
