The Australian Government has put 15 smaller airports up for sale, after selling Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth airports for A$3.3 billion ($2.4 billion). Winning bidders for the airports, which include Adelaide, Canberra and Darwin, are expected to be announced in February 1998. The sales are expected to raise up to A$500 million.
