Australian regional carrier Skywest Airlines has posted a 7% growth in passenger traffic in November.

Passenger numbers fell 1% to 29,000 from a year ago, says the airline.

RPKs in November grew 7% while capacity, as measured by ASKs, fell 3%.

As a result, the passenger load factor rose 5.28 percentage points to 54.5%, says Skywest.

The carrier has a fleet of 14 aircraft, down from 15 a year ago.
