Hydroid, which was recently acquired by Kongsberg Maritime, announced on 11 August that it will only share nationally exclusive information with its Norewegian parent company if it is previously approved by the Department of Defense.
Ernest Petzrick, sales manager for Hydroid, also revealed that the company is working on a 21in vehicle as part of a nonexclusive surface mine countermeasure proposal. The vehicle will be announed as soon as the government acquisition is revealed.
