Embedded computer modules designer Kontron (booth 129) comes to this year's AUVSI with a whole new set of options to offer UAV manufacturers, following its acquisition of AP Labs earlier this month.
AP Labs' bespoke and COTS-to-custom enclosures combined with Kontron-designed products yields a company fully prepared to address the complex size-weight-power-cost balance UAV customers face. "It's all about shrinking it down as small as possible," says Michael Humprey, AP Labs regional salesman now with Kontron.
