Robert Lambert, chairman of Aviall's board, has been named president and chief executive of Aviall of Dallas, Texas. Lambert replaces Marshall Taylor, who has resigned. Lambert led Dallas-based Aviall and its predecessor companies from 1973 until his retirement in 1992, when he became a consultant to Ryder System's worldwide aviation services.
