French helicopter charter specialist Aviaxess has expanded from Paris, opening Toulon as a base for the south of the country.
The Paris Porte de Sèvres heliport-based company has added a Eurocopter AS350B2 Ecureuil at Toulon Hyeres airport, making it the second base in France. Aviaxess operates Europe’s only helicopter timesharing programme, which links with the Bombardier Flexjet block charter scheme.
The company is targeting the business community in the region, which has few direct flights, with transfers to commercial airports in Marseilles and Nice and Cannes Mandelieu business aviation airport.
