British Airways is to operate three new Iberian sun routes from London Gatwick airport beginning in March 2015.
The IAG-owned UK carrier will serve the Spanish city of Seville, Las Palmas on the same nation's Gran Canaria island, and Funchal on Portuguese island Madeira. A mix of Airbus A319 and A320 narrowbodies will be used to operate the flights, says BA.
These new routes take beyond 50 the number of summer destinations that BA will serve from Gatwick next year.
From December, the airline is to fly from the London hub to Spanish winter sun resort Fuerteventura and ski destinations Friedrichshafen and Grenoble.
BA is also set to add services to Cagliari in Italy, Heraklion and Rhodes in Greece, and Bodrum and Dalaman in Turkey as part of its summer 2015 schedule from Gatwick.
