BAC EXPRESS AIRLINES HAS introduced a Fokker F27 into its fleet, because of its need for larger freight capacity following the winning of a new Royal Mail contract in Edinburgh. The Gatwick, UK-based airline received its Fokker F27 Mk500 in May 1996, and will start freight services this month, from Edinburgh to Liverpool. A 39-seat Shorts 360 is used for freight services to Brussels during the week and recently began charter-passenger services to St Helier, Jersey, in the Channel Islands.
