Singapore Technologies Aerospace (ST Aero) has signed up BAE Systems as a strategic partner in the F-16 upgrade suite.

The two companies signed a memorandum of agreement at Farnborough to enhance 'Falcon One', which is ST Aero's F-16 avionics upgrade suite. The Falcon ONE demon-strator can be viewed at the ST Aero stand in Hall 1 C2.The further development of Falcon ONE will be a joint collaboration between ST Aero, BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.

BAE Systems will provide the head up display, helmet mounted display and the digital moving map, working alongside Lockheed Martin.

Tay Kok Khiang, president and chief operating officer for ST Aero, says: "Falcon ONE fuses the expertise of the three partners to bring unparalleled value for F-16 operators worldwide."
