BAE Systems has formed an alliance with Qinetiq to seek wider commercial applications and business opportunities for its defence and aerospace technologies. The risk-sharing agreement, which initially spans six months, requires Qinetiq to identify, validate and develop plans for between two and four technology solutions and help bring the products to market. It also opens the door to a longer-term relationship between the two companies.
