UK datalink and software specialist Aerosystems International is to become a wholly owned subsidiary of BAE Systems, which will acquire GKN's 50% stake in the concern for £14.5 million ($26.7 million). Previously a BAE/GKN joint venture, Yeovil-headquartered Aerosystems will report into BAE's Customer Solutions and Support business unit.
