Michael Donovan has been appointed chief executive of British Aerospace Regional Aircraft. He was formerly chief executive of Avro International Aerospace, BAe's Woodford-based regional-jet operation, and takes responsibility for both Woodford and Jetstream Aircraft at Prestwick, Scotland. Mike O'Callaghan, formerly managing director of Jetstream, takes responsibility for BAe's negotiations with China, within Aero International (Regional) on the proposed Asian/European 100-seat regional jet. Donovan, with Avro since 1994, is a former managing director (commercial) of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
