British Aerospace has appointed George Rose to the new position of director of finance and treasury, reporting to finance director Richard Lapthorne. David Scannell, previously finance director for commercial aerospace, becomes director for financial control. Former group treasurer Tony Rice is appointed to the new post of chief executive at BAe Asset Management. David Brent is appointed group treasurer. Robin Southwell, formerly managing director of Asset Management Organisation, becomes group chief executive of BAe Australia Holdings, based in Australia.
