The biggest hot air balloon in the world, a monster 20 storeys high, took off from England for France on 25 April. All was going well until the balloon drifted in over the Dunkirk area and the wind started to push it to the north east. Watching helplessly as they drifted towards Belgium, two of the crew decided it was France or bust and bailed out! The balloon and five remaining crew eventually landed in a field at Hansbeke, near Ghent, Belgium.
