Raytheon Systems has chosen IEC International to supply the in-flight entertainment and cabin management system (CMS) for the Boeing Business Jet demonstrator. This follows a contract with IEC to equip the first nine BBJs with its integrated CMS. The demonstrator will have a 106cm (42in) plasma bulkhead monitor, IEC's touchscreen and remote operation switch panels.

Turkish business jet charter company Air Sapphire has been heavily fined by the US government for flying a Gulfstream GIV to Russia without authorisation.
The Federal Aviation Administration has ordered inspections of the Gulfstream G500 and G600 fleet in response to a “quality escape” involving improperly installed engine-mounting hardware.
