Boeing is proposing to lease a small fleet of militarised Boeing Business Jets (BBJs) to the US Air Force to satisfy a requirement for executive transports for senior military personnel. The Commander-in-Chief support aircraft fleet will include five leased civil transports, one Gulfstream C-37A (Gulfstream V), purchased early last year, and a BBJ. Boeing believes the BBJ could replace older aircraft.
