Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) and Swiss business aircraft operator PrivatAir have begun a five-week tour of Europe and the Middle East, promoting the BBJ. The 28-seat 737-700/800 hybrid is one of three owned by the Geneva-based company. The aircraft has become "the first ever BBJ to be used in private charter service".

Turkish business jet charter company Air Sapphire has been heavily fined by the US government for flying a Gulfstream GIV to Russia without authorisation.
The Federal Aviation Administration has ordered inspections of the Gulfstream G500 and G600 fleet in response to a “quality escape” involving improperly installed engine-mounting hardware.
