Bell Helicopter Textron has sold a Bell 206L-4 Longranger IV light helicopter to Malaysian operator Sabah Air.
The purchase agreement, which includes one option, was signed at the Heli-Asia 2000 show, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 24 to 26 October. This is the first seven-seat, single-turbine 206L-4 to be bought by Sabah Air, and adds to its fleet of eight Bell helicopters.
Based at Kota Kinabalu, Eastern Malaysia, Sabah Air operates fixed and rotary wing aircraft. The company says it will base its new helicopter in Kuala Lumpur.
