Bell Helicopter has received US certification for its Model 210 medium utility helicopter. Deliveries of the remanufactured and upgraded, ex-military UH-1H Huey will begin in November, with the first 210 going to US utility operator Minuteman Aviation. The $3 million upgrade to a zero-time civil-certificated helicopter is aimed at reducing the operating costs of, and restrictions on, military-surplus UH-1s.
