Bell Helicopter's maintenance and completions facility in Singapore has handed over the first light, twin-engined 429 helicopter.
The corporate-configured aircraft was delivered to Indonesian charter company PT Whitesky Aviation - already an owner of three single-engined 407s and a 429.
Bell opened the doors to its regional service centre in Singapore on July 31, "to better serve customers in Asia Pacific", it says. The centre offers customer training, customisation and completions, major refurbishment projects and maintenance, repair and overhaul.
"The delivery of the first Bell 429 from Singapore is a significant milestone in Bell's mission to expand our international capabilities and respond to our global customer base," says Eric Cardinali, Bell's executive vice president of customer support and services.
