BGT has modified its LFK NG LeFla next-generation very-short-range air defence missile by replacing the dual-pulse motor with a boost engine and a sustainer motor ahead of the centrebody wings.
The LeFla missile is due to enter service later this decade. The change has been made because of the difficulty of sourcing a dual-pulse motor.
BGT says the imaging infrared seeker scans the air and ground, the latter so that the weapon can be used in an indirect mode against helicopters masked behind obstacles.
