Globalstar, Iridium and Odyssey, the operators of the planned Big LEO low-Earth-orbit mobile-communications-satellite systems, have agreed to co-operate in an effort to secure global authorisations for portions of the radio frequency spectrum to be used by their mobile telephones. Globalstar and Odyssey will use code-division multiple access, while Iridium will use time-division multiple access.
