DuPont has announced at the show that its Korex aramind paper honeycomb core has been selected for use on the Boeing new generation 737-700.

The company goes as far as to say the contract extends the string of new developments for its aramind/phenolic composite core, first introduced in 1992.

However, marketing manager, core structures, Halvar Y Loken adds: "Our customers believe the specific designs for use of Korex in their systems offer a comp-etitive advantage, so we can't describe precise applications."
