Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based Astronautics will provide the hardware for Boeing's 787 electronic flight bag (EFB). Astronautics already supplies EFB hardware for the Boeing 777, which has the first fully integrated EFB certificated by the US Federal Aviation Administration and has been operational since November 2003. Astronautics' EFB hardware will also be deployed on Boeing's 737 later this year, and the 747 in mid-2006. Jeppesen, a Boeing subsidiary, provides the software for the 737, 747 and 777 EFBs.
