Boeing has confirmed an order from China’s Xiamen Airlines for 25 more 737-800s and says the deal includes another 10 purchase rights. China Southern Airlines, which owns 60% of Xiamen Airlines, said in July that the carrier intended to acquire another 25 737-800s for delivery between July 2011 and November 2013.

Boeing said in a statement on Friday that the order was booked early this month but it was previously listed as being from an unidentified customer on its orders and deliveries website. The deal includes purchase rights for another 10 737-800s for Xiamen Airlines, which is already a major 737 operator.
