Boeing's X-32B short take-off and landing (STOVL) Joint Strike Fighter concept demonstrator has taken to the skies at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, in Maryland, again yesterday.

Bad weather has delayed the flight test programme of Boeing's JSF variant but David Brower, the company's JSF affordability director, says the X-32B has so far completed 22 out of a planned 50h, including demonstrating the operation of the aircraft's directed thrust system, at altitude.
