Flight International online news 11:00GMT: Boeing has confirmed it expects to finalise a sale of six 787s with a major aircraft leasing company within the next two months.

Few details are being made available, but the manufacturer’s VP of sales, marketing and in-service support for the 787 program Martin Bentrott says six unidentified sales listed on its website are earmarked for a lessor.
“We anticipate reaching closure within the next month or two,” says Bentrott.
The Boeing executive, although refusing to confirm the customer, does indicate that it is not a major lessor. “Some will probably be surprised when they find out who it is,” he says.
