China’s government has ordered another 80 Boeing 737 narrowbodies on behalf of as many as eight of the country’s airlines. Boeing says the general purchase agreement was signed on in mid-April by China Aviation Supplies Import & Export Group during a visit to the USA by Chinese dignitaries. The deal came nearly five months after an initial bulk order was agreed for 70 737s.
