Bolivian flag-carrier Lloyd Aereo Boliviano (LAB) may have gained a new lease on life with the purchase by a local businessman of the 50% stake held by Brazil's Canhedo family, which also owns VASP and controls Ecuatoriana. There is the promise of fresh capital, something the airline sorely needs.
