Disputes between the unions of Bolivia’s LAB and Ernesto Asbun, the airline’s majority owner, have escalated. The unions are threatening lawsuits; several senior managers have quit over the impasse. Bolivia’s government has refused to intervene. With flight cutbacks and lessors claiming aircraft, LAB may be headed for administration.
