Bombardier is to offer CaseBank Technologies' internet-based maintenance diagnostic service to CRJ and Q400 operators. SpotLight is a database of diagnostic experience for trouble- shooting. The service is aimed at helping operators improve first-time fix performance.
Bombardier has captured and structured troubleshooting knowledge into SpotLight, and will update the database as problems arise. After a trial period, SpotLight will be provided on annual subscription to CRJ and Q400 operators.
ATR is to use Data Systems & Solutions' CoreControl fleet data management system to collect and analyse operational data for the global ATR fleet. The service will allow airlines to compare reliability and performance data with the global fleet. The contract enables real-time data collection in flight.Source: Flight International
