Bombardier Aerospace plans to set up further parts distribution facilities to cope with growing aircraft demand in the Asia-Pacific region.

Speaking at the inauguration of Bombardier’s parts distribution warehouse in Frankfurt, vice-president parts logistics Desmond Bell said: “We will carry out a transportation analysis over the next couple of months.”

The company, which has a long-term drive to deliver aircraft-on-ground orders to all its customers within 12 hours, already has facilities in Beijing, Singapore and Sydney and may continue to have more than one facility in Asia, says Bell.
