BOMBARDIER IS TO reorganise, following the resignation of president Raymond Royer. The Canadian company is to split into five operating groups, each headed by a president. Robert Brown, president of Bombardier Aerospace, North America, (Canadair, de Havilland and Learjet) will be president of Bombardier Aerospace Group, which will now include Shorts Aerospace, of Belfast, UK. Roy McNulty will continue as chairman of Short Brothers.

Each group will have an executive management committee, chaired by Bombardier chairman Laurent Beaudoin and including new executive vice-president for strategy and corporate affairs Yvan Allaire and vice-president for finance Paul Larose.
