Transport Canada (TC) has completed flight testing certification activities on the Bombardier Enhanced Vision System (BEVS), it was announced at the show yesterday.
Bombardier said it has received a letter of provisional approval paving the way for certification by the US Federal Aviation Administration and the EASA.
TC and the FAA jointly completed their flight testing of the BEVS system on 3 February.
Bombardier said full certification is expected by July 2005, following the successful completion of electromagnetic interference tests.
