Bombardier subsidiary Flexjet will be the first fractional ownership company to offer the new Learjet 70 and 75 business aircraft.
The light and super light twinjets - launched earlier this month - are scheduled to enter service in 2013. The Dallas, Texas-based operator says negotiations are under way with Bombardier to determine the number of aircraft it requires. Flexjet has 82 aircraft in its fleet and a customer tally of more than 1,000.
The Learjet 70 and 75 will replace the 40XRs and 45XRs in service. The new models will feature a new interior, a next-generation cabin management system, Bombardier's Vision flightdeck, and Honeywell's upgraded TFE731-40BR engines.
