Another exciting chapter has turned the life of Tim Ripley, aviation writer and Flight Daily News journalist.

The much-travelled correspondent has compiled a photographic account of the air operations over Bosnia. The 112-page publication, which contains more than 200 colour photographs, goes on sale in all good book shops at the end of this week.

Ripley worked for three years on his project, which graphically recounts the air operations up to, and including, the NATO air offensive that eventually brought the conflict in Bosnia to an end last September.

Says Ripley: "The book is a fitting conclusion to my three years on assignment in the Balkans for Flight International and other specialist publications." Air War Bosnia, will sells for £16.95, is produced by Airlife Publishing, 101 Longden Road, Shrewsbury, SY3 9EB, UK. Fax: +44 (01743) 132944.
