Frankfurt Airport says it has bound 70 per cent of its ground handling business into 10 year contracts, which will remain valid after European-wide deregulation of the sector, which could start as early as 1996. Lufthansa has signed up, taking advantage of the 'attractive options'. Similar offers are being made to other airlines as their contracts come up for renewal.
