Ukraine is discussing with Brazil the prospect of launching satellites from the South American country's Alcantara launch site. The site's location on the equator is an advantage for launches to geostationary transfer orbit, for which Ukraine is marketing the Zenit booster. The Zenit is also part of the international Sea Launch effort.
