Britannia Airways is to install AD Aerospace's FlightVu cockpit door video security system on its fleet of Boeing 757s and 767s. The video system is produced by Manchester, UK-based AD, while AEI of Orlando, Florida, has designed the installation.
The system consists of closed circuit television cameras linked to one or more liquid crystal display monitors mounted on the cockpit pedestal which enables the crew to monitor the area outside the flightdeck without leaving their seats.
