UK CHARTER CARRIER BRITANNIA AIRWAYS has taken delivery of its first three General Electric CF6-80C2-powered Boeing 767-300ERs, which received instant 180min extended-range twin-engined operations approval from the UK Civil Aviation Authority. Delivery of a fourth aircraft, which was due shortly, has been delayed until 1997. The 328-seat 767-300ERs, which join a fleet of 767-200s and 757s, are being deployed on long-haul routes to Australia, the Caribbean, New Zealand and the USA.
