Sir - Your article "Regional-jet makers ponder tough BA requirement" (Flight International, 24-30 January, P8) suggests that Avro is expected to offer a mix of RJ85s and RJ100s, but that it does not have an offering in the 120-seat bracket.
Literature which I have received from Avro also desribes the RJ115, however, which, at 116 seats, would seem to come close to the carrier's requirement.
It seems that, in fact, Avro could meet all of the British Airways' requirement with a UK solution for the "world's favourite airline".
