Adrian Tighe has been named area manager for central and eastern Europe, and Brian Tickle area manager for Scandinavia, Finland and the Baltics, at British Airways. Tighe, who was head of finance for the UK regions and BA regional until 1996, is general manager for the UK, Africa and the Middle East, based in the company's head office at London Heathrow Airport. Tickle, with BA since 1987, is now manager for Portugal, based in its capital, Lisbon.
