The Belgian Government has announced its long-awaited decision to bring Brussels Airport back under state control. Under an arrangement made in the 1980s, management of the landside business had been separated from air traffic operations and put in the control of private investors. These will be brought back within a single state organisation, but the Government will then sell off just under 50%.
