Piaggio success
Italy’s Piaggio Aero Industries has gained US certification for the updated P180 Avanti II twin pusher turboprop. Delivery to the first US customer is scheduled for later this year.
Phenom brakes
Embraer has selected K&F Industries to supply the wheels, brakes and brake control system for its Phenom 100 light business jet. The contract is valued at $250 million.
EXCELAIRE grows
US charter provider ExcelAire has added a Bombardier Global Express to its New York-area managed fleet, which includes Gulfstream, Hawker and Learjet aircraft as well as Eurocopter and Sikorsky helicopters.
