Enhanced 605
Bombardier's improved Challenger 605 business jet has made its international debut with a tour of Africa after entering service at the end of January. Improvements include Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated avionics.
Quiet BBJ
Los Angeles-based Avjet has completed a new Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) for a US corporation. The aircraft has undergone a cabin noise dampening process that Avjet claims "makes it the quietest BBJ in the world".
Sloane facility
Sloane Helicopters has received Part 145 approval for its new 1,200m2 (13,000ft2) maintenance facility in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland. It is now certificated to deliver base maintenance for R22 and R44 Robinson helicopters and base maintenance approval for the Agusta range is expected by early summer.
