MARSHALL EXPANDS

Marshall Aerospace has established a fixed-based operation and expanded maintenance facilities at its Cambridge base, primarily to support Europe's expanding fleet of Cessna Citation business jets, for which it is an authorised service centre. "Our business aviation division has grown significantly from 2005, where it now needs to add additional hangar capacity and full service facilities," says Marshalls, which has also opened a maintenance repair and overhaul facility at Doncaster in the north of England.

TWINJET CHALLENGER

UK charter operator Twinjet has added a Bombardier Challenger 604 business jet to its managed fleet at London's Luton and Stansted airports. The large-cabin aircraft will be available for charter, joining Twinjet's Airbus A319 Corporate Jetliner and two Embraer Legacys in service.

PRICE HIKE

Embraer has increased the price of its Phenom 100 very light jet from $2.85 million to $2.96 million. The Brazilian airframer insists the price still remains "very competitive". Embraer has orders for almost 400 Phenom 100s, which are sold out until late 2010. The aircraft is earmarked for certification and first deliveries for the middle of next year. Meanwhile, the airframer has selected the CAE Burgess Hill, UK training centre as the European training location for the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 light jet.

EBACE BOOM
