LEARJET DELIVERY

Bombardier has delivered the first Learjet 60XR business to a Mexican customer and the first Challenger 850 and Learjet 60XR business jet to customers in mainland China. Bombardier says: "China is among a number of countries identified as emerging markets for business aviation. Globalisation, increased travel requirements by business people and a general positive trend towards the acceptance of business aircraft use are among the contributors to increased activity in the region. Meanwhile, the Canadian airframer has appointed Comlux Aviation Services of Indianapolis, as an authorised service facility for its business jet family. Bombardier now has 41 authorised service facilities and line maintenance facilities in 21 countries as well seven Bombardier-owned service centres, including its recently opened facility Amsterdam.


MAINTENANCE APPROVAL

Jet Aviation Dubai has clinched approval to offer maintenance on Jordanian-registered Hawker Beechcraft types and the Gulfstream G450 business jets. The company already provides maintenance and warranty support for the BBJ, GIV and GV series, Dassault Falcon 900 and 2000 series.


AVIATION SHOW

The Central Europe Private Aviation industry association has launched plans for a new business aviation trade show focused on central and eastern Europe. Cepa Expo will be held at Prague Vodochody airport in the Czech Republic from 29 September to 1 October and the organisers expects to attract around 120 exhibitors and generate revenues of almost $1.4 million.


REPAIR APPROVAL

US business aviation services provider Business Jet Access has received federal aviation regulation Part 145 repair station approval, paving the way for the Dallas, Love Field-based company to expand its on-site maintenance services to include routine inspections, repair and troubleshooting for Cessna Citation 650, Dassault Falcon 900 series, Hawker 800 series business jets as well as Honeywell TFE731 engine derivatives.
