AMBEO GOES DUTCH
UK charter company Ambeo and Dutch asset finance company GA Finance have signed the lease for the second Cessna Citation Mustang entry-level jet that will be used to support the Cambridge airport-based operation. The aircraft is to be delivered this quarter. The company is planning to take delivery of three more aircraft this year including its first Embraer Phenom 100.
PHENOM APPROVAL
Embraer has received European certification for its Phenom 300 business jet. First delivery of the €8.5 million ($8.1 million) light business jet - which received Brazilian and US approval in December - is due in the second half of the year to UK charter company FlairJet. Embraer has a backlog of around 600 Phenom 300s and 100s, about one-third of which are Phenom 300s.
7X PROTOCOL
The European Aviation Safety Agency has certificated a Honeywell voice over internet protocol system for installation on the Dassault Falcon 7X long-range trijet. The Honeywell MCS-7120 satellite communications system provides voice as well as data communications for cabin and cockpit applications. It can operate over the Inmarsat SwiftBroadband network, which offers bandwidth of up to 432Kbps per channel.

Emirates-CAE Flight Training and CAE have signed a three-year contract with ExecuJet Aviation Group for pilot and technical training services on more than 30 aircraft types - including Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Gulfstream, Hawker, King Air, Turbo Commander and Westwind models. The training will be conducted at CAE's four training centres in the UAE, UK and the USA.
